MY STORY
I got my start in the 12-volt industry right out of high school in 1979, installing car stereos and alarms. I did that for many years, and it taught me the fundamentals of automotive electrical systems.
When I was 21, I rebuilt a 1957 Chevy two-door wagon in the driveway of my parents’ house. That was the first car I ever completely rewired—and I’ll admit, some of that early work was questionable!
Over the years my skills have improved exponentially, and sometimes I look back at that first car, laugh, and realize just how far I’ve come.
I’ve always loved classic cars, and eventually I realized I could use what I had learned to make a difference for other people who love them too.
That passion and decades of experience are what led to Classic Rewire.
